The ADA News (10/5, Manchir) reports that this year several oral health care products have earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance, including the following “first-in-category products” announced previously: Waterpik Water Flossers, Oral-B Oscillating-Rotating-Pulsating Power Toothbrushes, and Crest 3D White Whitestrips Glamorous White. Additional products that have earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance include CloSYS Alcohol-Free Oral Health Rinse, Efferdent Overnight Denture Cleanser, and Adhesadent Denture Adhesive Cream. The article notes that the ADA Council on Scientific Affairs’ acceptance of the items “means the products’ manufacturers passed ADA Laboratory tests and met ADA and American National Standards Institute-approved dental standards, when applicable.”
